"It is time for the annual Dongzhi Festival, a wintertime festival in China and other Asian countries. Dongzhi is about the balance of yin and yang - the balance between the dark throes of winter and warmth felt by the fire with family, as everyone looks forward to the coming of spring. During this celebration, families travel to be together and eat tangyaun, a type of colorful rice ball.
