Wowwww~ It's been so long since I did a drawing if you're wondering why look at my journal the link shall appear here at some point:

[note: The original drawing was bigger than this and GIMP 2.8 was hard to use so please ignore random unfilled spaces and stuff]

Anyway about the drawing
Dragon Rider is a new creature/character I made. They're an accent race that live on flat parts high up in the mountainous forest, though they look mostly human, their eyes are the same as dragons, and they have odd skin patters that appear on their cheeks back and basically anywhere else
They have high pitched singing voices, (the male have low pitched) and they're extremely pretty or at least meant to be.
They ride on the back of dragons (hence the name dragon rider) and their whistles can call their dragon to their side.
They sing a song which I call "Dragon Lullaby" which sounds moderately like this

During war or at a funeral but since they're rare to find now in my magical world place lol Their song is rarely heard and some of them have become a myth to the average town.

This particular one has bright blue eyes, (their eyes are usually the same as their dragon so they can range from grey to red to green to blue to purple and even mixed whatever colour really lol)
I'm yet to give her a name but I was thinking amber, because her dragon is a fire dragon...very creative I know...
[edit/note: I've decided her name is Azure, the colour of her eyes (Royal Azure Blue is the colour of her eyes btw) her dragon however I named Amber]

I was getting used to the new GIMP so I decided not to draw her in full but to draw her cat-like eyes and cheeks and a poor version of hair (again blame GIMP look at my journal )
so don't blame me for the mistakes, but I think it came out quite well, considering the situation and the fact my tablet was on my lap cuz I have no table space in my holiday house! Yay... -.-" T^T
