Tears don't only lurk in the darkest and dullest of places.
Just wanted to try out some Photoshop filters and brushes that I came across on a tutorial - [link]
Wanted something a little Japanese oriental (in terms of colors, anyway). Didn't really follow the tutorial as much as just grabbed the resources. xD
EDIT: Changed colors up a little, changed up background.

No, not at all. I think about how every time people do some crying image, it's always dark, but I think it can be bright too.

My very first ever manipulation was a crying one, and mostly dark xD But I'm still pretty proud of it looking back, it was a good start and represented real feelings : ]

Maybe you can do some idea generation exercises. Like.. if you think of the phrase 'don't look a gift in a horse's mouth', what ideas do you come up with? xD
