*Artgerm 's Pepper. My submission to his Pepper Project.I'm very happy with how this turned out. It's my first completed picture using my new tablet, which was a blast. Inspired by flipping through a fashion magazine- there are all these advertisements with beautiful women.
using that as a reference, I drew Pepper! Am I getting better at realism? i feel like there are notable improvements between my last few pieces.I'm mourning the last week of my break. Finishing commissions, wee!

She really has that covergirl look. Very clean coloration, maybe too shiny to be realism. Magazine reference shots tend to give a really glossy look. It's fricking awesome though.

but i feel like the eyes arent even. the left eye's bottom lid goes a little lower, and the right eye is just flat.

You are really getting better at the realism thing! I totally adore how you treated her eyes and the addition of that hot purple under her chin and around her eyes! That is so loverly!

You've used a much more realistic face shape here than past pictures. ^^ And much less random shiny-shiny - it seems a lot more deliberate, paying more attention to facial structure. The hair still has a bit of cartoony thickness, but you've still improved.

And as for if you are getting realism...you are! Your work is improving greatly (it's always been amazing). But I see a difference from when I first met you and saw your art till now. Always improving on your previous piece. I'm so proud!!
