Chapter 3
The first encounter

After walking a few miles in the frosty forest dungeon, staying out of sight from the other dungeon moemon to avoid any unnecessary battles. Finally Zander had made it up to the highest summit frosty forest, where Ino had told him the legendary moemon will be located at. When arrived the air was much colder, to the point his winter jacket was hardly keeping him warm. However to his surprise he heard singing, a beautiful melody could be heard from the cliffs of the summit. Zander looked up towards the locates of the singing voice, and then he saw her.

Flying in the sky in a beautiful blue and white dress, which showed off her curvy yet busy body. Is Articuno, the legendary Moemon of the frosty forest. Atleast Zander had met and found his first legendary moemon with his own eyes, and she looked gorgeous as well as very elegant as well. Some would say that out of the three bird sisters, articuno is the most beautiful of the three. As she finished singing, Zander would clap at her performance which had startled the ringing giantess. Articuno looked down upon the small moemon below her on the cliff, which she blushed red and hide her face all flustered, showing off how shy she is. Even to a small little guy like Zander, she's still very shy and a bit scared. She lowered herself and hide herself behinds the cliffs edge away from Zander, although being so big, it's kinda hard to hide herself. Zander also could tell, the more scared she got, the more the snow storm picked up little by little. Yuno spoke in a very shy, and cute voice.

Yuno “w who are you a a and what do you want? Are you here to fight me for my feathers? P please don't make me fight, I I'm not a fighter”

Zander “n no ma am, I'm not here to fight I'm just here to talk. I have no intentions to battle you mighty legendary bird.”

Yuno “t then why c come all the way u up her? no one comes into my domain unless th they wish to battle”

Zander took off his bag slowly so he wouldn't startle her, as he'd take out his notebook with the label, legendary Moemon dex. As he sat in a rock and spoke to her, in a calm tone.

Zander “I'm on a mission to get information on the legendary Moemon, and you're the first one on my list. So if you don't mind, tell me about yourself”

Yuno looked at him for a bit, after watching him and hearing him out. She realized Zander might not be a bad person after all, she then landed upon the cliff side showing off how tall she is. She's much taller than ino was, and towers over Zander. If Zander were to stand, his head would be up to her knees. Yuno kept a distance from him, however still shy around the little moemon before her, and she spoke.

Yuno “we'll… for starters my name is Yuno, I'm one of the three legendary birds and I'm the youngest sister. Out of my sisters, I'm actually the weaker of them however I've been told that I'm the most beautiful of my sisters…. which sometimes makes my older sister Tres kinda jealous at times”

Zander wrote this down while listing to her talk.

Zander “out if the three of you, who do you think is the most strongest among you?” He asked curiously

Yuno “that would be our eldest sister Zia, she's by far the strongest of us both. Although Tres tris to challenge her over and over again, Zia always wins. I too was beaten by her once, which I'm not really a fighter if I'm not provoked…” she answered back

Zander “alright then, so what powers do you have that makes you so powerful and legendary?” he asked once more

Articuno “well… unlike most other ice moemon out there, I I have the ability to create snow storms wherever I please. Sometimes it depends on my mood too, w which I'm always timid by nature. S so I tend to make blizzards wherever I go, id r rather not be spotted when I'm flying from o one area to the next. So when people see a random blizzard flying through in the middle of summer, t that's usually me passing by… my sisters can do the same as well… one time we three got into a major argument which turned into a battle, which caused the whole weather system to go out of control….. we got scolded by our mother after that… ooh she was angry…” she said with a hint of fear when she mentioned her mother.

Zander “mother?”

Yuno “oh yes, or mother Lulu. Or what you moemon call her, Lugia. She's very scary when she's angry or annoyed… that day we really upset her…”

Zander nodded and wrote all this down, which they spoke for a good long while. However Zander was starting to get really cold, thus thought it was about time he headed off to his next destination. He then got up from the rock he sat upon, and placed the notebook in his bag.

Zander “thank you for your time ms Yuno, but I better be going or I might catch a bad cold. I need to go now and see your sister Zia, she's next on my list. Mind telling me where she lives ?” He asked curiously

Yuno pointed to the location, past the snowy mountains.

Yuno “there… at the amp plains… that's where she usually stays among her three locations. But I should warn you… though Zia isn't as hot tempered as my sister Tres, she likes to battle any new opponent who enters her domain… she thinks anyone brave enough to enter amp plains, is worth a fight. I'd take you there but…. we sisters agreed to never invade each others territory unless it's important.”

Zander “understood, then I'll head there on foot then. Thanks for your time”

Zander started to leave, as Yuno watched him walk away. However she decided she wanted to give him something for his bravery to come meet here, in such cold conditions.

Yuno “wait!”

Zander “yes Yuno?”

Yuno “please take this feather of mine, to show proof you saw me here.”

Zander nodded taking the feather, thanked her once more and then left the summit and towards the exit of the dungeon. Thus, continuing his quest.
