Background

Nathanial "Nate" Stone was an ordinary guy before he became a superhero. He was a scientist working in the field of solar energy. One day, he was conducting an experiment in his solar energy lab when suddenly an explosion occurred, engulfing him in a bright light. When the smoke cleared, he discovered to his amazement that he had superpowers. He was now able to generate and control solar energy at will. He knew right away that this power was a gift and decided to use it for good. He became a superhero and dedicated his life to fighting crime and saving the world.

Powers

Solar Energy Manipulatiom: He has the ability to manipulate solar energy in various ways. He can create blasts of solar energy, control the temperature and intensity of the sun, or even create miniature suns.

Flight: He can fly at supersonic speeds and traverse great distances through space.

Solar Healing: Nate is able to quickly heal from injuries when exposed to sunlight. The amount of time it takes for him to heal is directly related to the intensity of solar energy that he's exposed to.

Superhuman Strength/Durability: His solar powers augmented his physical strength and durability, making him able to deal with superhuman foes and withstand great force.

Weaknesses

Lack of Sunlight: Solaris' powers are dependent on the presence of sunlight. When there is no sunlight, his powers are greatly weakened.

Water: Solaris' powers are diminished when he is in contact with water. He doesn't have the same level of control over solar energy, and his strength and durability are also reduced.

Darkness: Although he has the ability to create his own light, complete darkness affects his vision, making him more vulnerable to attacks.
