Question: How do you make the background look like it's the floor?
I'm not that good with backgrounds.

im not using this software, but its similar to what im using.

I drew them flat first and adjust it to looks like "its on the floor"
Then just add some shadows which adds some good touch up to the feel.

Add in this blur if you like the depth of field effects.
