Been playing the Cyberpunk RED TTRPG as of late and this here's my character for it. Her name's Celerity and she's had a hard life trying to make do with the hand she was dealt. She managed to land herself a job as a Fixer with a side gig as a Maid.
Over the years, she's come to know plenty of people. Typical for her line of work, but more than that, two of those people used to be lovers of hers. The first, Marie, was a starry-eyed girl. She had the brightest of smiles and, while naive, her optimistic views of the world was refreshing. After an string of unfortunate events, this innocent girl lost her mind and went cyberpsycho. Celerity still has the jacket and gloves to remember her by.
She took another shot at love after that, but the next was a fool of a guy who never learned his lesson. That landed him straight to jail. Even now, she could only wonder what impulse made her choose him out of all the other fish in the sea. Maybe it was weakness, maybe it was some lingering hope, nevertheless, never again after that.
The emotional toll made Celerity more distant and aloof. She doesn't think badly of people, but it's become difficult for her to connect and make friends. At least, looking at the bright side, it also meant she didn't have any enemies.
