I should probably be working, but I can't help but get inspired! Somehow this time, I had a feeling to revisit digital art.I'm so used to drawing shaded, realistic ponies, that I neglect the simpler things. Just a simple, 2 tone, flat colouring
works amazing wonders! If I had copics, I'd do exactly the same style as this. Thicker lines, simple 2 tone colouring.
I want to give a huge shout out to CTB-36 for being such a huge source of inspiration for this piece!

Even though I know this isn't the name of the actual song, but this instantly reminded me of Devil in Disguise by Elvis Presley! But seriously, Fluttershy is the exact, polar opposite of the Devil, man.

Oh yea, Michael Jackson is awesome! I say he is even more influential than Elvis, but I guess it really just depends on what genre of music they influenced. Honestly, if I didn't get so much into stuff from the 40's and such, they 80's would easily be my favorite era of music. Of course, I still love 80's music, but just slightly less than 40's/50's.

Yeah I don't consider myself a fan of music before the 2000s. Also the fact I never seek that kind of music doesnt help. I find the synthesisers back then absolutely hilarious though. They sound so terrible compared to how they are now. Haha

Yea, I think I just like it more just out of nostalgia, as my Mom loves the 80's and my Dad loves the 40's, so they'd play it a lot when I was a kid. Just stuck with me after that.

Ahh that makes sense. My parents were into stuff like that as well. There were only 3 songs that really stuck with me, though. Just beat it, take on me, and staying alive.

Definitely would take time. My art style (if I really even have a unique one), took me like 2 years of drawing ponies haha. I honestly really would like to learn to digitally shade. But its far from my reach to even try.

oeh i love markers soo much i have some copies myself and im saying up to buy more but they're soo expensive. and you do have your own style most artist i can recognize from coloring methode or from anatomy.Β
