Groups are great places to make yourself known around an audience of similar interest but they're also good to go for meeting potential new friends, collaboration partners, and reviewers too. I join quite a few of groups myself, mainly for meeting others this way, though I won't join within a group unless I am going to give them contribution and interact with the members and offer my help as a member of the group. And I can't ever say no to an invite, really. I love my groups.

I made a stamp because I suppose someone else does the same rather than those I see that join hundreds of groups to dump there begging for pageviews, favorites, points, comments, llamas. The community is top priority for me.
