Description It has been long since I had one…

There, in a place where no one could reach
Save for two…
A drenched heart
and the other
A baffled mind

Coexistent these two are:
However are at once
...Rivals.
Conversely paradoxical this may seem
One can not justly exist without
the other.
And with great effort they take flight
Hand in hand
To a land none knows where.

It was a sheet of paper on a glass globe
On it are the deepest yearnings
of a longing heart
as the worn-out spirit of the mind rests.
She starts weaving a silk of beauty
Too good to be existent

A valley of happiness
A spring of fantasies
A vast expanse of sapphire sky
in its flawlessness.
Down below, an endless satin of earth
Where grass of sweetness grow
Parted by an endless road of no diversion
no intersection, no loop
none for a distraction

There, we took our world for a much desired freedom
Where we could be alone
Away from prying eyes
And mediocre criticism
It was as real as it can be
And so…
says the poor heart… in a deafening whisper
for a desperate plea

“I can not stop at weaving that sheet…”

But at a halt on the wee hours of reality
comes a gush in a whisper
that immediately tames the aching heart

Still…
Odd as it may seem
There is not a blossom
…A flower…
to prove that world to be real

It was from that yet baffled spirit
From she who keeps her steps
In an inch - wide cliff cutting
between idealism and realism

with that
she stops…and opted to be quiet
and retreated again
to add some dew drops
to her pool of a lake
An aged lake of desolation,
bleakness, melancholy and gloom

later…
they took off for another day
and sat by the window pane
for a sunset
and later again…
shines one bright star for a memory
of a much loved flower in all the million of stars
that makes it enough for both
to be content
just looking at it.
