 The nature of the photo conveys something of a dark dream state. The blurred tunnel vision created by the dark halo contrasted against the blinding sunset simulates eye sight; so the photography is not just a flat landscape canvas. For me personally, the location and exposure reminds me of a specific childhood memory - tho I couldn't tell you if it was a memory or a dream. Either way, it's a hauntingly nostalgic snapshot.  Again, great photo
