Description
This is the reference sheet for my character for the OC Tournament *DeviantDead . Say hello to Mirela Maxwell! Known as Rail to her friends.Now I just have to hammer out an audition comic real quick; it'll be up in a couple of days; may post a page here and there before then.
Jacket decals are brushes from ~Falln-Brushes
EDIT: Gave her a little more muscle on her arms, now she actually looks like she does construction!

Oh you got style going for her. I wouldn't mind havin'em accessories. Mm.. except for the handpiece. I prefer .66 scoped magnums myself.

That would definitely be more powerful! Though I gave her that gun since I was going for what Tactical Teams use, since she got them from a SWAT van. They favour guns like Sigs, Glocks and Berettas.

I really have to say that I respect that you listened to the crits and added a bit of musculature to Miss Rail! I do think she could stand to be a bit more solid, especially if she is lifting the kinds of things you find on a construction site. However, you said there will be some more definition in the audition so I'm excited to see it and what you do with her! The competition is in serious need of some more femmes!

hmm yeah I guess her physique isn't too muscly, but I think she's cute and looks pretty badass. What's important is how fast she can run! bahaha hope to see you in the final!

I gotta back up that person who left your first comment. This does not appear to be a lady built for picking up heavy objects. That said, it's a very pleasant character design (I particularly like the skull bandanna!), makes me think a little of `Wen-M 's early work. I sincerely hope to see your audition.

Yeah, I agreed with him too, so I added a bit of muscle to her arms; looks better now I think! Still got her "tits-and-hips build" though. Gotta have some priorities.
Haha, I can only hope I'm on the right track to become as skilled as he is. I'm really glad you like it! Maybe she'll meet some of your boys during the Tournament!

Why are her breasts lower in the first drawing, but when shes covered with a jacket they get higher/better shaped?

They don't. The jacket just makes them lose some definition and give the illusion of height. I drew that jacket right over the top of her, so if they moved it's got nothing to do with me.

"exceptional upper body strength" "physique is very toned"
...no offense, but I'm not really seeing either of those when I look at her, just a generic willow-slim fanservice tits-and-hips build.
I'm not saying pack on the buffness until she looks like She-Hulk's stunt double, but adding a few lines to show off some muscle definition and build would make the whole "strength" claim a bit more believable.

That is a valid point; so I added some muscle to her arms, now it looks like she's actually a construction worker. Still got her tits and hips though, I love those too much to lose them. Fit and sexy.
I tried adding lines of definition, but they just detracted from the image due to the flat nature of the colour, but I will be defining her with shading during the comic.
I also changed the word 'exceptional' to 'good', since upon giving it some thought, I think exceptional was too strong a word, it makes her sound superhuman, or like a bodybuilder, where she's just supposed to be very fit from her work.
Thank you for your criticism, I think it helped me out quite a bit.
