I ADORE this picture! The angle was really interesting and VERY fitting for the anime, even though I had no idea she was taking something like this because I wasn't looking at the camera while doing this pose. I also love the shot of the mask that she got in. ^^

That mask took forever and a day to make, by the way. I'm almost positive I'm going to die early from the amount of stress that it put me through. (It looks so deceptively simple. T_T) I made it out of Sculptamold, sanded the heck out of it, put about 20 layers of gesso on it, then sanded it some more. Then I had to paint it (which was nerve wracking because I had to draw so many straight lines) and spray it with fixative, which was probably took a few more years off my life because I wasn't in a well-ventilated place when I did it.

ANYWAYS, this was from the private Darker than BLACK photoshoot at Tekkoshocon VII, April 2009.
