I love Sorcha And Red so. But poor little Simon an his lock of hair always got me. Especially When they were both thinking of what could have happened.

I just finished this book last night. I myself was wondering, with twenty pages left, if anything was going to happen between them. And then the next page, he stumbled into the house and a huge grin spread on my face.

I like how Juliet Marillier's stories take you by suprise. Originally, I thought Sorcha would end up with Simon because she took care of him in the beginning. I'm glad she ended up with Red because I think he's more selfless than his brother and has more of an equal, deep relationship with Sorcha.
