Starlight Night is the first-born foal of Sparkdust Knight and Midnight Star, she was born premature, due to the fact that her mother was becoming sick and losing her magic for no reason, and she was born a month earlier than her parents expected. Starlight became a bit of a spoiled child and a wild child. Starlight is a Daddy’s Girl, Midnight was really happy that she was a bat pony like him, and they had a special connection. As for her relationship with her mother, Sparkdust may seem too busy for her but she makes time for her to spend time with her.
Starlight always loves knowing how her mother, father and her uncles were The Protectors of The Seven Kingdoms, and how they all saved them many times and, she wanted to be like them. So she would stay and watch her father’s training and would watch her uncles’ training. And she knew that she either wanted to be like her parents a protector of one of the seven kingdoms or a guard.
When she was six, she was in the forest as she found a filly her age without a family, her name was Nightly Shadows, she was lost and Starlight took her back to the castle, Sparkdust was unsure what to do until Nightly told her who she was and who her father was. So Nightly was taken into the family which her mother made more time for her. Starlight started to act up just to get her mother’s attention after that Sparkdust took more time for Starlight.
Starlight loves being with her sister they were a great time of pulling pranks, they consider themselves as twins, Starlight would defend Nightly if any pony picked on her, and called her names, and Starlight says the Nightly is her best friend.
When her younger brother Moon Dust was born her parent were giving all their attention to him, due of the talent that he developed, and that when Starlight discovered that her mother was going to give him her role, when deep down she wanted that title, But Midnight did end up giving her his role.
