no, im not dead... yet...i bet ya money nobody can guess where this l'il fella came from... i think this movie had the biggest impact on my childhood yet, it was called "The Elm-Chanted Forest".
i just watched it again after all those years- MAN, was it weird... i swear ill never understand how they saved the forest without really doing... anything...
anyhoo, this guy's name is Thistle and he's a wizard/cactus thing... i love him to death, he's been my imaginary friend since i was like: 5 and he's just the greatest thing ever... except he's got THE most irritating vocie i have ever heard!
but i still love him... ... and i got into a car accident today...

I recently watched the movie again, good memories... but it doesnt make much sense ONO Anyhow, I discovered today that the movie was originally Croatian, and that they made a sequel in 1989 called ¨the magician´s hat¨ (original title, crocacnjkov sasir or some weird shit like that). Im trying to find the movie, but its always without subtitles TnT

In ''the magician's hat'' thistle kind of fall in love with a Fairy and she did too. Someone said that Thistle might be a cactus guy just like the king ? It could be...who knows?They've got dancing and singing mushroom after all...

I still love this movie- when I was little I had the whole thing memorized.
And I still love this character. I never had a problem with his voice though. I found it more hilarious that annoying.

I know! I mean, the movie tries to say that "Beavers are builders and so are hated by the forces that destroy" or whatever, but they cut down a LOT of trees in their own right. I spent a good bit of my childhood wondering why Emperor Spine and J. Edgar Beaver didn't team up into some sort of villain squad.
