Hi,
Another contest entry to experiment with - and a new subject: Sabrina!
The contest is all about bad relationships. I could think of few more dangerous relationships than between a witch and the Lord of Eldritch Darkness and Lies...Lucifer! In this instance in his guise as everyone's fave goat - Black Phillip!

Sabrina, depicted here neatly out of her teens, was created in 1962 by Dan DeCarlo and the brains behind Archie Comics and Riverdale. Now in several TV incarnations (most recently by the stunningly beautiful Kiernan Shipka)
For art style I wanted to have a bash at Ben Templesmith (b. 1984). Ben is a British-Australian illustrator and comic artist and one of the duo behind the classic horror film '30 Days of Night' (he illustrated the graphic novel in 2002). Ben's won a ton of awards and, being largely self-taught as a comic artist, admits to taking most of his influences from Ralph Steadman, Victor Ambrus, Dave McKean and Ash Wood.
These influences really come across - you can get a real sense of that 'sketchy' quality and tradition of line work in his art. A line work I wanted to try to catch. Ben is fond of using paint to produce his comics. Preferring paint as it gets the feel and quality of colour he desires more often than not. Lots of blues, greys and greens feature in his work. Often contrasting with blocks of orange. A colour scheme I can dig. In keeping with Ben's love of horror, I wanted to get a slightly 'off balance' feel to this one. Hence the composition.
So, stepping away from Velma for a Submission, here's Sabrina. Contemplating her apple and her whatever twisted relationship she has with the infernal.
I hppe this amuses more than it offends.
Thanks, as always, to those who stop by here.
John
