It takes a true man with the heart of a warrior to go forth into acting knowing his face will never be seen, he has to act in a suit that is hotter than a sauna/ can barely breathe in/see out of and that nearly killed him a couple of times. All for the love of acting and entertaining millions, bringing the King of Monsters to terrible life. For that we thank you, Nakajima-San!

Nakajima-san must've been one of the hardest working people in the movie business, Japanese and otherwise.

You could say that. He was the one who brought life to Godzilla -and many other classic monster characters.

But instead of the word "arrogance", Blue Γyster Cult used the word "folly".

After all, "Godzilla" is an awesome song by Blue Γyster Cult.

That's how I felt! I live in Sweden, where we have very few scifi and monster conventions, so I haven't been able to meet any of my creative heroes.

Amazing work as usual, especially this one. Felt like Ray Harryhausen all over again when I saw the news. Rest in peace, Haruo Nakajima.Β
