Description The Swedish folk tale tells of an inn keeper who sold his skin to the Devil in return for earthly riches. Not a good bargain by any measure!
This art is from a book I published, collecting creepy Swedish folk tales:

Haha... he doesn't just have one double chin there! Anyway, I love your pencil works... you're really good at that. So much details and nice line-shading.

Thanks! Pen and ink remains my favourite medium. Too bad there's not much room for it in the media world of today.

You're welcome!

It shows because you're so good at it. But then, you're amazing at sculpting things too.

Why, thank you!

When I look at all the talent here on DeviantArt or Elfwood, I see lots of people who SHOULD be able to do this for a living, but never will. The illustrator's and designer's markets are crowded, and it's so rare that a talented person gets his/her big break. Of course, you have to keep going anyway. If your creativity isn't the meaning of your life, you might as well quit.

You're very welcome!

Yeah, I know. I've been thinking the same thing many times. The most frustrating part is that (for me) drawing and writing and all that takes so much time. And to get enough money to pay the bills I need to work which gives me too little time for my art. I feel art-starved most of the time actually. I wish I could just win a lot of money on Triss or something and be able to really go for it! That'd be life!
