Ok explanation time:

Hot Fuzz: Never in my life have I laughed so loud and hard, I think I even discovered a new laugh of sorts while watching this movie lol. After seeing Shaun Of The Dead I knew I had to see this one. My friends and I constantly make references from this movie (no one else knows what we are talking about lol).

300: I thought my head was going to explode from the sheer amount of badass pulsing from this movie. Seriously, I had no idea what to expect from this movie (I'm no scholar in greek history) I was not disappointed in the least. The only movie I've ever seen in a theater where everyone (including us) clapped at the end.

Independence Day: American fanservice lol. No, seriously though, when I was in my early teens I was fascinated with all things Astronomy, and that included the possibility of extra-terrestrial life. Even though I'm out of that phase, this movie continues to be one of my absolute favorites. The family usually plays this when we celebrate Fourth Of July, obviously lol.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off: You cannot go wrong with this one. I was shocked when I learned that most of my friends didn't see this movie. I quickly educated them and now we all follow Ferris's example lol (not really in my case though, we're like opposites).

The Ref: There is absolutely NO Christmas for our family unless this movie is watched. It's like a tradition now, freaking hilarious and brilliant. Trying to get my friends into it. We actually own TWO DVD's of this movie lol.

The Rock: Another favorite among me and my friends. The three main actors are favorites to us and the movie overall is just fantastic. "The Rock has become a tourist attraction?" lol. We're also in love with the soundtrack.

Lord Of The Rings Return Of The King: The awesome movie that completes the awesome trilogy that my awesome father introduced me to. Well yeah, the books were better but still... this was awesome. I think my heart stopped at the scene where Aragorn arrived with the army of the dead, freakin' awesome.

The Matrix: The first, and best imo, of the trilogy. The only one of my top ten movies that I don't own (sadly). My friends and I made a stupid parody of this film using our crappy camera. No, it's not on youtube lol.

Rat Race: Another family favorite. Any opportunity in which this movie can be viewed WILL be viewed. One is never truly accepted in my family unless he or she watches and loves this movie lol.

Crimson Tide: This one is a personal favorite, no one else I know is as crazy over this movie as I am. It doesn't matter how many times I watch it, I'm always at the edge of my seat. At first I thought this movie was going to be "eh", but man was I wrong.

And that's it. You're probably thinking "No Star Wars?". Honestly no, if anything I would've replaced Crimson Tide with Star Wars but I wanted to add at least one movie that was a personal favorite of mine (I like the Star Wars books better anyway).
