I present Transformers Prime Knight.

In TF Prime, Knight and Excalibur are both Strikers, bodyguards to the Primes. Excalibur was created specifically for Sentinel Prime who fell at the hands of Megatron. Knight was constructed for Optimus Prime but because her shell was built during the height of the war parts were limited.

Knight was constructed using the dead shells of both Autobot and Decepticon.

What make Strikers so unique and special among Cybertronians is that not only revered as bodyguards to the Primes, its because the Elders built their shells without sparks. Striker bodies are unique in the fact that they choose the spark/life force in which the shell feels is worthy to have the honor of being a guard to the Prime the shell was built for.

When a Striker shell is completed it is presented to the masses. If it finds the one chosen to dwell as a Striker, the shell pulls the spark/life force from its existing body into the Striker shell officially bringing it online and offlining the other shell.

So far in Cybertronian history online Cybertronians and Nebulons have been chosen to be Strikers. Excalibur was a Cybertronian Striker, but Knight's shell was sent to Earth without being bought online. It is there on Earth it is discovered that Cybertronians and Nebulons aren't the only ones to be chosen as Strikers...

Yeah yeah totally mary sue-ish but meh like I really care what other people rant about...
