Okay, so I read Reign in Hell #7 on Wednesday, and I am super-pissed! After being very excited by Linda's popping back up in #6, I feel like the way things ended in this latest issue are a slap in the faces of her fans! I know I've taken it irationally personally... Grrr...

What's even more annoying, I think, is that I'm not sure if this means that she's never going to come back (as indicated in the drawing above), or if she's going to come back evil and crazy! Linda Danvers was probably the most heroic character the DCU ever had; she was Super, but she was all too human. She actually had to try very hard to be a hero, to be good, and she ended up sacrificing hugely, again and again, throughout her superheroic career... And I think it was also very aggravating how, when Shadowpact caught up with Dr. Occult right after Linda ditched him, they just kind of wrote her off!

:sigh: Seems like that's what everyone's been doing nowadays...
