I wasn't thinking of putting up this pic but me and my sis thought I look Japanese here...I think it's a combination of my make-up and my sister's timing...she took the shot just before I blinked hence the really chinky eyes. Lol.Some people in YouTube were complaining that my lips were too big for my Aeris and Tifa cosplay...and since Megumi's lips are way small I thought I'd make mine smaller too, to be more accurate. I just drew smaller lips with a liner and filled it in. I put foundation to cover the rest of my lips.

Yes, she's had such a tough life...when I was a kid, I didn't like her because I was such a Kenshin x Kaoru fangirl and she was always flirting with him! 
Me too! I love RuroKen...I watched it as a child and watching it again brought memories. I understood and liked it better this time. And yes, I've seen the OVAs. I liked Trust and Betrayal, but not Reflections. I just can't accept what happened to Kenshin and I only see it as a fanfiction that was beautifully animated.

I didn't know RK existed until the series started playing out on TV. Then I went "bugshit" and ran out to get as many of the DVDs as I could! haha
Every time I got allowence I'd go get another DVD.
Trust and Betrayel was sooo flippin sad!! 1: It was the first animated movie that made me cry. 2: It was the first animated movie that made me cry. And 3:It Made Me Cry!! *head-desk*
I thought Megumi was a beautiful person inside and out. Her crush on Kenshin was kinda cute.
But sense Kenshin and Kaoru were together, I was hoping that Sano and Megumi would wind up together. I mean, they did have a few moments where it hinted at a connection. But then Reflections came along and destroyed EVERYTHING!! WHY?!?! I hated every bit of it!! Sano became somewhat of a traveling bum. He and Megumi never had anything. Kaoru got sick on purpose. His son was a dumb ass. The whole Kenshin-Gumi was split up! I don't even want to think about that ending...
I liked the Manga's ending WAYYY better!!

I know, right? I hate reflections. I don't consider it canon at all...everyone was OOC! I just like the animation, that's about it. I'll go by the manga and anime endings where everyone was happy. The creator even said that he doesn't agree with Reflections and he wanted Kenshin to have a happy ending after all he's been through.
Trust and Betrayal on the other hand is awesome. I always wondered how Kenshin was like when he was Battousai...and I was satisfied with what i saw. I really like Tomoe too...I think she's a little dull, but she's really beautiful and intelligent. She saw past her hatred for Kenshin and realized he isn't just a heartless killer. It's really sad...and yes, it made me cry too.
I've always believed that there's something going between Sano and Megumi. I find her crush with Kenshin really cute and funny, but I believe she truly has her eyes on the rooster-head. There were a lot of hints that they at least like each other, and most people consider them a canon couple anyway. I'm such a Sano x Megumi fangirl! [link]

You really look great as Megumi. I love the makeup - thought it was done to show the traditional timeline---because if I'm not wrong, the Japanese ladies of old used to put colour on their lips like that too, so they'd look more feminine.

Thank you very much...that's a nice little info there, but I did that with my lips to have a smaller-looking mouth. Megumi's lips are so tiny, I had to make mine smaller to be accurate.

Hopefully I'd be able to do the Tifa cosplay again this summer. I bought new accessories and modified the top I used to make it more accurate. Fingers crossed, if everything goes well, I'd be able to shoot again in about a month's time!
