This is a truly beautiful piece. It captures the vison well, and it captures originality perfectly. So I gave it five stars.I've seen many dark pictures before. Many many times, so that's why you weren't as high on technique and vision. There are a lot of drawings on this site. So there are a lot of things like this, most likely. Although I have never seen hair that way before. The streaks are well done. I like the mysterious expression in the face. This is so well done, that I thought this was a real person, before closer examination. I would love to see more of your work. Just let me know if you need another critique.

As I have just written in my comment I really like your choice of the subject of the photo,the way he is dressen,the atmosphere you created in this photo.It is very nostalgical and melanchonical.A very well done work in my personal opinion.Have you used photo shop for the make up of the eye maybe?You also have totaly "obscured"
the background of the photo,even if I don't know anything about photography,as a watcher I would suggest to make see the background,even a little could be perfect.Sorry for my English,it is a little bit rusty,but I hope to be helpfull for you.

The focus point of the photo when I first looked at it: the eye shadow.
I like the details of the outerwear, and how his/her lips are nude. The colors of his/her hair are great. However, I feel that the hair could be more neat, but still messy, it feels like a bed-head more to me.
His/her face being quite pale not only goes great with the nude lips, but also adds the darkness theme, it's like making the focus more on the special thing on her face: the eye shadow. However, I think the black eye shadow could also be more vibrant, like to emphasize. I think the most important is the eye shadow, because it feels like it doesn't have much focus on the whole photo.

it is nostalgic,so particular.It reminds me certain member of visual key bands o j rock bands like The gazette,but the photografy is really well done.I like your choice about the subject of this photo,the way he is dressed..and maybe the you used photoshop?Do not see it as a negative critique,but I know very little about programs like photoshop or others.Anyway I really like this photo.That's why I added it to my favourites ^_^

This is such a beautiful photo. I love how natural the hair looks. In some pictures I've found it's very styled, and while that can be nice I think the way you have it in this one works well. The colours work well together and create a nice contrast, from the pale of the model's skin, lock of hair and the background, to the dark of the outfit, eyes and the rest of the hair.
