When Nayeli woke up right next to wildebeest carcass, she saw a snake on it. It was hissing to her. She quietly got up, and at the same time she was stretching her legs, she got a little distance.
She sneezed, blinking her eyes. "What? Fog? Fog in middle of desert?" She looked around. "Oh, i bet I'm blind when in hungry. There's forest, not so far away from my position. That's why here's some fog."
Snake is still hissing. She turned her head to look at snake, tilting it like; "Seriously now?" She grabbed the poisonous snake at head, throwing it as far as possible. Luckily, Nayeli was faster than the snake. Looks like it's not going to come back. Great.
Suddenly, she heard howling. It comes from forest. Nayeli realized that this little pond may be hard to protect. If there's another wolves in desert, they must come here to drink. She couldn't help it. But she didn't like it either. Here's easy prey, water, not so hot than in middle of desert... Just perfect place to stay. But hard to protect. She may meet another wolf in no time. She couldn't sleep in peace. Maybe someone wants this territory? She doesn't want to fight. But some company would be nice. Maybe a handsome, strong wolf male, to start family with. No. She's not that kinda wolf.
She sighs. ~Well.. What now? Kinda bored here.~ She was thinking. Then she heard another howl. I gotta mark my territory, so others will stay away. Female started walk in a circle, marking some plants. Then she saw something in a forest. ~Was that wolf? I hope not.~ She was quietly walking towards forest, to mark some trees so others wont come in desert. Nayeli was a kinda scared. What if random wolf just jumps on her, and starts biting her? She had enough. She will mark the territory better tomorrow. It's getting dark. She lost the pond. ~Great, fog is now so big that i cant see anything.~ She was sniffing the air, trying to find the carcass scent. And she found it too. Female started to follow the scent back to the pond.
When she got there, she sit right next to water. ~Oh god, i look awful!~ she was thinking, and suddenly jumped on water. She was rolling on water, and after a while she climbed back to land, shake the water off and laid down. She wasn't hungry at all, and had nothing to do so she fell a sleep.
