Description Unfortunately, I had to do this one twice because I completely forgot to use my model the first time   ; fortunately, it didn't turn out too bad.  Hans Christian Andersen is one of my favorite fairytale writers, but he always seems to have written such depressing stories, which might have been because he was bi; "The Red Shoes" alone is enough to scare anyone to death, but most of them have the indirect happy ending of the died-and-went-to-heaven kind.  More importantly, however, his main emphasis is not always the moral of the story, but of the details in the magic and fantasy elements; "The Little Mermaid," for example, puts much more focus on the nature of mermaids, air spirits, and whatnot and the magic involved in the spell than it does about the moral obligations of the Mermaid herself.  In the same way, "The Snow Queen" takes a much different turn than Disney's Frozen, beginning with a magical mirror crafted by Satan's minions to only reflect the bad in other people; they tried flying it up to God's throne in Heaven, but it shattered and the dust went everywhere.  This concept was featured in a couple episodes of Once Upon a Time in Season 4, but it just didn't feel right to me because of how childishly basic the bad aspects they were "seeing" were.  The Snow Queen herself is almost a completely impartial character; she just seems to be the queen of snow and ice, with snow bees for her servants.  So I hope you enjoy this piece; thank you!

To be honest, I did find the old Frozen concept much better - always a sucker for oldies, and come on the Snow Queen is a great story.

She looks stunning; posture is a little rigid but I think the ice dress looks great!

I love the classic fairytales, but I love happy endings too much to be really cozy with them.  Thanks!
