I know it's the moon and looking towards earth (at least I hope I know that) but it looks like the shadow is created by earthe because it's right above the crater. Perspective in space is the hardest thing to portray though. I think it's because the light on the planet implies the light is coming from up above and not infront. But the crater is depicting a light source from further in front. The two contradict eachother. Although that could leave a shadow fromt he planet on the crater but I think it would be in the crater more too. Just my humble opinion/critique.
