Well, today's September 2, which officially marks 10 years on this account. I had an existing DA account before this, but things had gone stale so I decided to leave it all behind. I felt a newfound sense of freedom and experimentation when I started over as longestdistance .

At the time of my account creation, I was working on 100% completion in Majora's Mask on the N64. My first ever submission to this account was a drawing of Link wearing his bunny hood. One of my close friends from school suggested I draw Deku Link next. However my skills were not up to par at the time, so 10 years later I'm here to make things right. Hope by some chance you see this, my old friend!

Playing this game, whether on N64 or the 3DS remake, feels like coming home to me. It's one of my all-time favorite games and I associate it with a lot of good memories of when I was younger. It takes me back to memories of friends I had and the places we hung out. Above-mentioned friend even made me a replica of Majora's Mask as a gift. I treasure it as a tangible reminder of the wonderful times we shared during our younger days. He and one of my other school friends would always comment on my art and looking back on those comment threads fills me with a warm feeling of nostalgia and fondness.

Behold the masterpiece that is my first attempt . Deku Link is definitely my favorite transformation mask in the game. He's so cute!
