I feel sick. My throat is really scratchy and I think this won't really go away soon. Joy.So t omake myself better I drew some pony butt. Also because I felt like drawing a little bit of Fluttersy. I still think out of all the mane six she's the hardest one to draw. :/ But yeah, enjoy the pony butt. I'm gonna go die at work.

I've definitely mentioned that I really like how you do pony bodies in general, but here, I daresay, you have managed particularly well. The shape of the head you give them looks beautiful here, and it aligns so well with the rest of her body. Hay, her entire body is aligned in a remarkably good-looking way. The wings compliment the hair and the rear, the tail compliments the rear and the legs, the entire pose directs our attention to her face and her plot. Who said that Fluttershy didn't know how to present herself? Once a model, always a model. She must've picked something up in that time.
You've also managed a lovely come-hither look in her eyes. A very good and expressive face there. Also, I very much enjoy how that bow is on the part of her hair that benefits from it the most, as well as that base of the tail there (a big point for me with a particular take on pony bodies is how the maker deals with it, and I do very much like your realistic approach). And I've always been a sucker for stockings and how their top circles the hip and frames what is above. Perhaps the one thing I'm not sure about is the exact curve of her forelegs on top of the pillow, but it looks in line with the show way of dealing with it and is thus alright.
Oh my... Flutters, darling, what are you doing to me? You know I'm Twilight's, and yet you keep on doing your best to beat Rarity as my second most deeply beloved pony. And I'll be honest with you, you're doing very well. Oh well... I surrender to you this time. I can't deny that I love you six to bits anyway.
Also, sorry to hear you're sick! Please do get better soon, maker. I hate having a sore throat and I hope the soreness and the associated illness will go away very soon.

Thanks, I'm trying to get better with the body shape, that it would fit with the otehr elements of the body well. 
I really personally like how the wings came out here, I think I'm getting the hang of them soon!
Fluttershy definitely has something special about her. She always just looks her best regardless of situation!
Eheheh, pony eyes are very expressive since they are so big, so it's fun to play around with the expressions they can show! And ev en if Flutters is a shy pony by nature, I'm sure she would be a little emboldened by someone she really loves. <3 The tail here is maybe a little too high up the spine, but I agree the tail joint is at once a really important thing to get right and it's one of the most attractive bits of pony anatomy.
Ehehe, she is good competition even if she doesn't necessarily try!

Indeed she is, indeed she is.
As for the tail joint, yep, I checked further and it's true. But while it is a bit higher than it would be if it were 100% anatomically accurate, the difference is still not too great, and the tail still comes out of the rear and not the back at the very least. Still, even with the higher position, the exact shape and nature of the joint is preserved, and I daresay it looks great on the pony body, far better than an ambiguous, undefined attachment would.

I am very prone to my headaches, but this sort of illness doesn't come by too often thankfully. There's just a lot of people sick at work, so it is eas yto catch.
I love her, but yes she is very difficult. Partly it is the shape of her mane, to me it's very difficult.

don't know if I ever asked actually, but who is your most preferred character from the show? as I already said mine is Flutters, she is my fave overall, I also have a fave princess and antagonist, which are Luna and Trixie, and in that order would be my fave 3 too,
how do you mean by shape? you mean the part where it curls over her eye? also yeah, she does have a different eye style, but then so does Rarity, do you find her hard to do in that respect too?

Yeah well there's the problem that I don't really want to be out of work since it's a hassle, and also it's a pain for the people who are still working because they'd be undermanned. I would only take time off from work if I HAVE to.
Hmmm, out of the mane six Twilight is definitely my favorite. I can't really explain, but she's just the one I can relate to most and I love her character. <3
As for Princesses, I couldn't decide, I love all of them equally I think... For antagonist? Nightmare Moon all the way man. XD

Fluttershy has one big advantage (in drawing aspect). You can do a lot of things with Her mane, It is long, with soft curvature - so If You want You can do something crazy with It. I spent plenty of hours on drawing Her. I drew crossovers, FS in socks and panties, Sombred version, Nurse version, Shipping with RD and I noticed that Her mane is really useful for example You can use it to cover something what You want to hide - Yes I know that I can do the same with other ponies but Fluttershy (her mane) is the best to do this in my opinion.

Sorry If I`m spaming, but probably I found where is Your problem with FS mane - I`ve been seen many of Your ponies and I noticed that You like manes in RD, AJ styles or similar - this manes started bind ear and You arent able to see connection between mane and head. Fluttershy is different in her "standard" mane You see clearly this connection - in MLP-cartoon style this is similar line, which dosnt looks fine/sexy/realitic etc. (in my opinion).
But this line is important because it depends how mane will look. On Your newest FS You Hide this line bechind FS head - so probably thanks that You feel strange during drawing because it could be hard to draw "perfect" mane while You didnt see mane`s beginning and in result You didnt know that mane is tall enough or that curvature was well. So (in my opinion) this line is important in drawing progress - but If You want to draw "realistic mane" You cant use only curved line, ok You can hide this line behind head - but You may feel unsatisfied with it. So If I can give advice - just try to draw connection between mane and head like that -> halfdeathshadow.deviantart.comβ¦
I hope You arent mad on me for that - but I really like FS, I spent a plenty of time on drawing her mane and I really would like to see Your Fluttershy`s art in future. I know that I`m anyone good in drawing but I believe that techniques which I used in vectors could be developed/improved by You - especially that You are really good and You use software, hardware (paper and pencil too

Is it because of her having the longest mane and tail? Oddly enough I have a hard time drawing believable short hair and making a style that doesn't cover at least some portions of the face unless it's a mid-split.
Anyway; anything with Fluttershy is awesome by default!
