Losing out to the larger Galaxy class, it is now a limited-run oddity consigned to the status of historical footnote. Past her prime, the Thoris still carries enough power to serve as the Admiral's flagship. She is named for Ambassador Thoris, an accomplished Andorian diplomat who helped to found the Federation in the 22nd century.
