Out there on the internet, I discovered a delightful little illustration - a chiibi of Osaka-san looking very defiant and wielding a spear made of a mop and a broom ... defending who knows what! [SEE INSERT, ARTIST UNKNOWN. (I tried!)]I called it 'Broom Defender' and long-ago added it to my private collection. Love it so much!
So finally I wanted to honour it with my own full-sized version, referencing the moment in the anime when a cockroach scuttles past Sakaki-san during a quiet classroom session.

I can't see the resemblance, but great picture nevertheless!

It is indeed true. I mirrored, her, removed the hat, gave her furrowed eyebrows*, rotated her face within the hair (so it seemed to fall forwards) and cut her cheerful laugh** into a scowl.
*that was when I spotted the eye-spot issue)

I wish I had a job already. What I want to do is work in the animation industry making animated shows and movies for mostly WB Animation.
And after that, I want to make my own animation studio and try to get the rights to Azumanga Daioh so I can make an animated film for the franchise, as well as new theatrical shorts, TV shows, and even make Sakaki, Kaorin, Chiyo Chan, Osaka, and Chiyo Father the mascots of my studio.
