If you haven't read the fansubbed manga it's a SPOILER.Crack warning!
When I first read the Pendulum flashback and saw that Shinji was not only a Captain but that also Aizen was his subordinate I couldn't contain my glee. This is only a few things that ran through my head at the time. Been meaning to draw it for ages.
Of course I'm sure Shinji was an extremely competent Captain.
Oh and I hadn't used coloured pencils in ages, I had so much fun colouring with them.

hehe this gave me a really good laugh. Poor Shinji, he must have been a really good captain to drive poor Aizen to the point he was at. Though a question I have for someone who's actually up to date on the Manga: Was Aizen evil beforehand or did he start when he made it up to a decent rank?
