I hate is when the happens. -_- I once ended up with a file so big that it crashed PS and my computer when I opened it to edit the background. :/

Haseo-Yamazaki In reply to Loona-Cry [2011-08-31 11:07:09 +0000 UTC]

I could do it in 45-65 minutes.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Loona-Cry In reply to Haseo-Yamazaki [2011-08-31 11:15:31 +0000 UTC]

Well, the more confidence I have the faster I can colour/do things. I don't have much experience with this type so it'd take me a lot longer than 45-65 minutes. It's ironic that it takes me a lot longer to do lineart than actually colour something in most instances. My hands shake too badly to try it freehand.

Haseo-Yamazaki In reply to Loona-Cry [2011-08-31 11:26:48 +0000 UTC]

I have 2 light pads, with ergonomic pens, that help on the cramping alot. as for the colouring If I want to I could program the coloring patterns into my PS or Ill, haven't tried in Fireworks like that yet.

Loona-Cry In reply to Haseo-Yamazaki [2011-08-31 11:42:02 +0000 UTC]

I use a Cintiq 12" for my stuff, very nice to work on. It's not even the cramping that makes them shake; the medication I came off left them trembling worse than before. :/ End result is wobbling lines and still haven't found a way of doing it freehand without the wobbles. *headdesks* *blink* You can program the colouring? Well, that does explain a lot.

Haseo-Yamazaki In reply to Loona-Cry [2011-08-31 11:46:41 +0000 UTC]

yeah I learned how to program most of the adobe products back when they were first coming out, I've been using them since then. It's b/c of me that my high school is the first in the country that includes classes geared towards Digital media and entertainment. I donated $100,000 just for the classroom equipment, and set it all up myself. I plan on going for a teaching degree and leading that department myself.

0.0 Wow, that's a handy skill to have. I guess that'd make you a pioneer of screwing around with Adobe stuff? That's an absolute crap load to donate. 0.o Good luck in getting it. I can't imagine ever doing anything like this as a proper career (strongly doubt I'll ever be good enough), but I guess it's more healthy to have something else to do on the side. ^^

I just stumble into them and work out things as I go. Definitely not the sort of thing you do as a professional.

its both a good thing and a bad thing, be sure to note down major changes you make and save variations of your work.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Loona-Cry In reply to Haseo-Yamazaki [2011-08-31 22:34:14 +0000 UTC]

I save all the variations I do. Namely in case I want to retcon or go back to a certain version of things to redo it. I usually end up with 5-6 drafts before the end file.

Wow. I use to keep about that many, then my slowly decreasing drive space coerced me into becoming more conservative. I'm guessing you have a crap load of space then?
