Description
Had to travel close to two kilometers in-game, but I finally found a Mushroom Island biome. And with that, I made sure to dig up some mycelium with my silk touch shovel, bring it back to base, and use it to make myself a nice little above-ground giant mushroom farm. If you've never worked with mycelium before, it's wonderful stuff. Spreads like grass over dirt, allows growing of mushrooms of any size in any light, so there's no need to build caves to farm the fungus. The only problem is that it can only be found on Mushroom Islands, the rarest biome in the game. Happy hunting!
