Dear MR Dave,
one day could you upload a sketch of an illustration before you work on it in photoshop. I'd just like to see how polished the sketches are that you use - you know, when it says in the description of an illustration here on DA "pencil sketch finished in photoshop".
Is that sketch then used as part of the finished piece or is it on its own layer and hidden in the final image?

love the greenery of the hat illuminating her forehead, and how her bottom sits on top (and perhaps almost in) of the translucent mass of the jellypus head.
