It's always a sweet feeling to have an OC where they're your favorite, other people loves them and a lot of work has been put into them. ^^ It's always a proud feeling. I'm glad you feel that way about her! That's very good.

Nice character, it's nice to see a different Tameranean character, instead of all the Starfire clones and Starfire's long lost sisters and cousins I usually see.

I see a lot of those too. I wanted something different, that's why I gave her a different name instead of the standard "Fire" name. I know Koriand'r translates to Starfire, but I always thought of the "and'r" part of her name as a surname. So if that's true, wouldn't other Tamaranians have different surnames?

Yeah, the 'r' actually means fire, but this name is only supposed to be for the Tameranian royal family. I have an OC who is half Tameranian and I named his father Andor's, I think it's good to give Tameranian characters a different surname and it fits better with canon.

Ah, so it's just the "r" that translates to fire? I always assumed it was the whole "and'r", as all of Starfire's family have it in their names - Myand'r, Luand'r, Komand'r, Koriand'r, Ryand'r. I don't know for sure if it's ever mentioned in the comics though, so that's just the way I've chosen to see it.
In any case, I chose "riv'r" for this character because it's so close to the actual word. I hope no one mistakes the "r" for the same surname as the Tamaranian Royal Family; that's not what I intended. And White River Fire really doesn't sound good at all. xD
