Oh Lance, you're going to have to flash your badge for things with more ridiculous names soon enough.
So two things I dislike about a lot of MPREG: 1. The guy who ISN'T up the duff is always like "ZOMG u r pregnant? Surprise! But I lurvs j00 and we will have teh baby an' be happy." I don't think that's always the case. Especially with Pietro and Lance who were safe in their happy little world of "no protection? No problem!" 2. A lot of MPREGgers and regular preg-lovin' peeps tend to be VERY uncreative when it comes to cravings. It's ALWAYS pickles and ice cream. That isn't the UNIVERSAL craving. So, expect Pietro to crave some weird stuff during all this...much like doughnuts and BBQ sauce. XD;;
In case you forgot, Lance is a detective for the Chicago Police Department (CPD). Why? IRONY!! XD Bernie is Lance's detective partner...whom we may never see. Lance also foreshadows a bit and YAY for Lance time! I had 5 whole pages of nothing but Pietro goodness. Let me have one little PAGE of almost nothing but Lance. GEEZ!
I imagine Pietro's day went something like this before Lance got home:
3:27pm- Left doctor's office. Cried. Hated self for crying. Cried more.
3:55pm- Went to the supermarket. Saw people with kids. Felt sick. Wondered if sickness was of the morning variety. Felt sicker. Vomited in the men's room. Momentarily wondered if I should use the women's room. Hated self.
4:13pm- Sat in the parking lot of the supermarket. Looked at stomach bump. Tried to suck it in. Wondered if that would hurt the baby. Wondered if I really cared. Exhaled. Hated Lance. Wanted to get drunk. KNEW that would hurt the baby. Wondered again if I cared. Cried. Hated self for crying. Wanted doughnuts.
4:48pm- Got doughnuts. Lady at the counter saw I'd been crying. Didn't say anything. Ordered two more boxes of doughnuts, wanted to cry.
4:49pm: Hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance, hated Lance....
5:20pm: Got stuck in traffic. Forgot I was pregnant. Couldn't find a station that WASN'T playing "Jingle Bell Rock." Decided Christmas was by far the worst holiday ever. Missed my turn. Hated Chicago city planner. Snow fell. Hated the snow too.
5:42pm- Made it home. Wanted barbecue sauce with my doughnuts. Remembered I was pregnant. Didn't care. Ate doughnuts with barbecue sauce. Hated Lance. Hated self. Hated baby? Hated baby.
Hmmm Pietro's a hateful guy. Sooooooooooo that was pretty much Pietro's day if you were wondering. 'Cause I probably won't draw it XD. *

[EDIT:] It's important to note that, though I love the HECK outta that journal thingie of Pietro's that I wrote...it is inaccurate as they do not have a car. 9.9;; I would change it to be accurate, but I love it the way at is. So...don't take it as fact....

(still laughing over the above, because, while has never been in Pietro's EXACT situation, has missed an important turn and ended up lost in West Virginia hating the man who designed the nation's highway system)

Heh, better late than never? 
Now, I know this has nothing to do with the art itself, but I love the description of Pietro's day. 
Most interesting quote here: "One minute, everything's fine, and the next, it's like the sky just opened up and everything just crashed down on me." Yeah. Wait till you hear what Pietro's got to tell you, Lance.

I've had my character eat strawberries and mustard before, and another eat carrot jello. Quite fun, one forced it onto her husband.
Donuts and BBQ sauce... That's very strange, but oh so funny. Good job!

I love Lance's rambling and how he's going through the motions of cleaning up. It makes me happy somehow to see how 'normal' he can be.
But I have to say that the last bit of the comic is my favorite, with his expression at seeing the donuts and then at seeing the BBQ sauce.
Very randomly, i LOVE how Pietro's licking his finger in the last panel. "Maybe..." :shiftyeyes:
