for anyone not familiar with Battle Chasers, this is the curvacious Red Monika, I think she was a bounty hunter in the series from wildstorm ?anyhow I am not totally familiar with the series but she seems to be pretty well known. in the trade there was a
shot of her riding a sorta shark/stingray creature that i thought was too cool! This angle in not the most flattering for the
"strata ray" shark thing, but as far as Monika was concerned the angle worked just fine. I wanted the the camera angle to feel like you were the
lucky dog riding beside our fearless heroine, anyhow hope this works. See ya in San Diego!!

no doubt. SDCC is accross the way from me as you know. So ill just have to be patient and see the crew at NYCC next year. sucks that its now trying to compete with Baltimore though. I hope you guys kill it at SDCC.

I loooove BC!.. Well I love Joe mad's work so of course I love his creator owned work. It was a Clif Hanger comic which was a creator owned thing published by DC if I remember right. I'm working on a sample right now for San Diego Con and I constantly look at BC for inspiration and ideas. I wish I was more into comics when this series was coming out 'cuz then I would have all nine, instead I have 4 issues that jump around. You did an awesome job with Red Monika, one thing though, she was wearing pants in this scene. Really tight, red, latex pants (am I being too picky). Still would have been just as sexy but tones would have been darker and the highlights dif because of material. Love your work though, keep it up!

Thanks Richy, I 'm a big fan of his work as well. This was a really fun piece to do and I will admit I did take some artistic liberties when it came to her outfit and some of the design, just for the sake of a cool pin-up.
