haha there's about a bajillion things wrong with this (like....so many things), but this took me so long and i love it sorry
probably not gonna animate more til i do some reading and learn how to actually fuckn animate. Right now I've got all the finesse and know-how of a caveman trying to craft a symphony by banging two rocks together
In the meantime, have a half-ass shaking her whole ass. Zee just can't resist the beat!

Adorable! I love the smooth motion of her tail! Maybe if you have the time, you could add a little waggle to her forelegs and front section to go with the movement and a very slight bounce to her head? I think that would look so nice and lively! I don't animate, but I tried a few times and read a lot. Great work!Β

I think it's really awesome that you're taking an interest in trying animation! This is a great start in using a subject matter you already love to draw and are familiar with since it's fun to do.
If I could suggest some resource material, Aaron Blaise who's main profession was a disney animator/director, has a website where he puts out and sells tons of drawing and animation tutorials on a huge variety of subjects: creatureartteacher.com/
I see people have already suggestedΒ The Animator's Survival Kit which is exactly what you want too.Β
I figure if you want to get some indepth learning material this might be a good place to start

Oh I forgot to mention he does put his lessons on sale fairly often so I would check once in awhile back since it's a good discount usually.
Yeah I would just take it a step at a time, training your brain on things like timing, spacing, secondary movement, weight ect ect is gonna take some time and patience to wrap your head around, but you've got the tools and the time now to get it down. ^^
