| Personality |
Being a quiet girl in words she tends to talk more with her actions. Someone could find that they could have a conversation with her without her actually having to say anything. This factor does not make her unsociable, on the contrary she very much loves being around people. Being raised in a library had it's pros and cons. Her actions spoke louder than words. But she does have a voice, and if you catch her curiosity then you have set yourself up for a game of 20 Questions.
Despite being a well educated kid, in books, she is still very gullible child. She can easily be amazed by a magic trick, believing with all her heart that it was actual magic. This also means she is able to easily be set up for a mean prank, but now just be warned. It is easy to get on her bad side. She can hold on That is unless you offer her something in exchange. A candy bar or a trip to the part will normally do the trick for her. Her curiosity can also get the better of her sometimes. Finding herself getting caught up in a question she can focus on it for ages and just let time slip past her. Which can cause many problems for everyone.
.Pros:
-She is light on her toes. (In the sense that she can be quiet, not fast)
-She is strong for her age.
-On the higher side of being average grade level.
-She is good with close range weapons, specializing in double handed swords.
.Cons:
-She is a quite kid that can be hard to get actual words out of some times.

-Very good at holding a grudge.
-She is very slow and tends to take a long time to get ready. So she tends to be late to things if not rushed by someone.
-Bad at hand to hand combat without a sword or anything
-At times she can be a scatterbrain, despite her organization, she can easily get caught up on something and forget where she placed something.

| BACKSTORY |
Hayley never actually knew her real parents. She was found by a Xatu, an old librarian named Victor Hue Giles. He told her that he had found her behind a dumpster one morning swaddled only in an old t-shirt, that conveniently had a picture of a Delibird carrying a bag to deliver something. She had already been whining and crying for someone to comfort her (like any infant would want) when he arrived. Which he was surprised that no one had gotten to her before he did. She couldn't have be any older than three months old. Mr. Victor (Hayley would call him) raised her as his own. He made sure he read to her every night, keep her socialized -it was mainly an older age group-, but most of all loved. When she was old enough, in his thought, Mr. Victory decided to homeschooling her so he could prevent her from getting behind in society. He was a big believer that intelligence could beat brawn. Mr. Victory even hired her a math and science teach to help her out in those foreign topics.
When Hayley wasn't being homeschooled she found herself helping Mr. Victor around the house and library. Organizing -the lower shelves-, cleaning, and helping people find books within the library. Living with Mr. Victor made Hayley a kind and quiet spirit that found herself nose deep into a book whenever she had the freedom to. She found herself seated or very still whenever majority of her free time. This was a bit concerning to the Xatu because knew of the health problems that a child could get if they were inactive.
So he decided to try and get her into some sort of sport. Starting off with soccer she ran through a multitude of sports that all ended with tears of embarrassment, failure, or a combination of both. She didn't seem to be very fast, but when she tried flag football she seemed to be able to keep herself upright. So he decided to stick her in a karate class. This seemed to be the hook, line, and sinker for her. It was slow at first, but she was able to learn self defense due to her lack of speed. One day they brought a guest appearance of a 'ninja'. The swordsman's skills amazed her, like it would any child. The little seven year old soon got enrolled into fencing -Mr. Victor wasn't a big fan of swords-. Unfortunately fencing wasn't her cup of tea. Her reaction time just wasn't able to sync. Reluctantly he allowed her to learn how to use a proper sword. Mainly asking around town for anyone who knew how to. Finally locating someone down she was able to find a teacher. An Exploud, who seemed maybe a few days out of college at the time.
The lessons were, at first, three times a week. But that soon changed to five times a week. The Exploud, nicknamed Sea-4 (a.k.a- Collin) soon became good friends with the little girl over the years. It ended up becoming like an older brother little sister relationship. Sadly the good times had to come to an end for her. When she was around 12 years old a Kishin had found its way into her neck of the woods.
It was closing time now and a hooded figure was still standing just staring into the library unknowingly to Hayley, Mr. Victor, or Collin. Collin was saying his goodbyes when a window was busted in. Startling everyone the Kishin lunged at Mr. Victor and latched onto his arm. The creature tearing at his body with its talons and fangs. This is where Hayley figured out she has a fighting instinct. She fought over if she should fight the Kishin or flee, but Collin had chosen for her. Taking her away from the scene he took her to the safest place he knew of, the DWMA. After he got her into safe hands he rushed back to see if Mr. Victor was alive somehow, which was not what happened. Going back to the Academy Collin took Hayley back. He didn't want her to be taken away from the little family that she had. Thankfully she wasn't a terrible child, Collin being more of a child at times than Hayley, the two were inseperable. Unfortionantly Collin just couldn't afford taking care of a child full time. Especailly since Mr. Victor wasn't paying him for Hayley's lessons. So once again he took Hayley to the Academy, but he did not tell just dump her off. He explained to her so she could understand and not think that he was leaving her.
But what Collin wasn't expecting was that the Academy really didn't want to have a random kid in their custody. So on the day that they set up an orphanage to come and find her they had lost her. Where they had found her at was with a random group of PKMND students. Even though she wasn't speaking she seemed at ease with meisters and weapons. She also showed little to no hesitation when it came to the weapon changing form. So they gave her a shot to prove herself. Which to their surpise she excel in swordsmanship, for her age, and was up to standards with academics. Dispite her lack in other skills she was still young and had potential.
