General Alexis Alexander (aka The Super Weapon General) has , like Gen. Townes, pushed the boundaries of tank technology with the Rail-Gun Heavy Crusader Tank.

Armed with a Heavy Medium-Range Rail-Gun, and already equipped with Composite Armor, this tank is a force of pure destructive battlefield might. However like the laser Crusader, increasing two of a tanks three major traits (speed, firepower, and protection), in this case firepower and armor, has led to the third category, speed, being extremely slow, making it vulnerable to high speed hit-and-run vehicles, aircraft, artillery, or anything with longer then medium range weapons.

Rail-gun crusaders are able to be equipped with either a Erebus battle drone (able to repair it's parent vehicle, and armed with twin light tri-barreled mini-guns), a armored scout drone (increases sight range, and detects stealth, and has more armor than normal scout drones), or a EMP hellfire drone (armed with a Anti-tank EMP missile Launcher that is also effective against infantry though less then the normal hellfire drone).

These Tanks can be equipped with Tungsten Shells, which increase the deadliness of the rail-gun, and Uranium Platted Armor which is even more resistant to damage then composite armor.
