Oh! the resemblance is close. I was not aware of it. Have no idea who went first. But there are millions of artists, and foxes are the number one furrry, so there is bound to be some pics made that will be close to one another.
His is way better for sure.

Some times I do have trouble with how strong light would be on a surface or different kinds of surfaces. And this one was achieved by making a black and white shading layer, with a color layer on top of it set on Multiply. But it seems to not do so good in some bright areas, or not bring out shadows.

Thanks. I will try the style again when I can. Hopefully I can get real good soon. I also need to work on my line work as well. actualy I kind of find that my hands shake more than other people, making it hard to make accurate line art. Then tablet shows it even more, so I still do my line art in life.

definitely bro, do what chu do and do it the best you can. im sorry to hear about the shaky hand. Perhaps there are some excersizes or otherways to cope with it while drawing- i dunno. I wish you the best. I do traditional as well. Not really much of a tablet liner myself. You'll get better, may take a while, but what's not to in the field of art? Keep it up =3

He's very cute. I like his design and the way his really bushy tail contrasts nicely with the rest of him. I like that he wears enough to portray his personality but he's not covered fully like a human and still retains a wild look.

its kinda unfair what comments you often get. you wanted to try a style and came up with a RANDOM character. You wanted to show the drawing style and what do people do? talk about the character. Thats not even the purpose of the pic. makes me angry sometimes. lord, give constructive criticism!
Okay, ill attempt to do that now. As always.
Im pretty sure i told you back then, the next step in becoming better will be trying to draw lineartless. NOT that it is necessarily better, but more difficult definitelly. So eventually you tried it, yay! And i did not expect it to be that good since i imagine it being waaay more difficult, though apparently not for you. very nicely drawn. Good fur texture. Though the texture on the tail differs from the legs, its a bit softer on the legs. A bit to much smudgetool in my opinion or at least the brush was too big (thats what she said LOL). There is one thing that buggs me a little. If you look at the head, everything is really sharp and clear. looking down at the shirt and the legs it becomes more blurred. As i said, i guess it was too much smudging. The paws become sharper, if you look further. I guess this is one of the major difficulties with that style, getting everything even. But very nicely done for the first try. pretty sure you'll master that by practising that style and getting everything look like the head eventually. Though maybe you prefer the soft looking style. do you? Also, the lighting is very good! ... because i gave you tips of course LOL joking. The blending settings are nicely chosen now. This style works very well for furry characters, but you may now try the next challenge, drawing a non furry character with it. The sharpness is mandatory there, otherwise it'll look blurry. i recommend drawing a character with skin. there are some red, blue, black and white ones that i could suggest
Also in my opinion, this style is a nice coexistence with your lineart based work. dont think you have to draw this one now forever, because it might be more professional and has no lineart. i like both styles.

Well the hair on the tail is supposed to be longer that the hair anywhere else. But i can't say why it got so fuzzy in that one area, perhaps i should have kept separate layers while drawing, I don't know. But after trying a few times, I may get something to work properly. One of the things is I have to use a soft brush most of the time, otherwise it would look real bad. So you want me to do this for dragons now? I see your hint there.
yeah I will keep the other style, I aint jumping styles just yet.

yeah she has problems with her pc but i guess that wont take tooooo ling. though an other guy is still in front of me with the coms, so his will be done first.
the other guy wrote me a note the other day, he will give me what he has when he gets back home, he is traveling now. not sure how long this will take, but he already said ill get something for waiting. LOL, make the waiting even harder He has some rough time right now with school and work and this is definitelly more important that a comission right now. hes working on it constantly though, just needs to get home and send me what he got when the travel is finished. i aint showing you anything anyway LOL you know too much already

normally they just wear it around there neck. And it don't have to fit on there ear, just would have to be close enough for them to hear it. It could be adjusted to pit on there head to where it would come just at the ear.
