Description I need to get back into drawing, and I enjoy black and white pictures. Also, most of my references for "Victorian/Edwardian fashion" were in black and white, that made it easier. So who are these two? They're reoccurring NPC's from a Dungeons and Dragons game that I run. Feel free to use them in your campaigns. Just Jenny is the leader of the local Thieves' Guild. She's really a gnome woman in her mid 50's (in human years) that disguises herself as a flower girl so she can keep an ear on the streets. She got her nickname from her childhood as a pickpocket, from conversations like this:
"What's your name?"
"Jenny."
"Jenny what?"
"Just Jenny. I'm an orphan."
Over the years she worked up the ranks of the pickpockets, local gangs, thanks to her lack of a traditional family and simple, but endearing, disguises. What city guard would be willing to arrest a cute little girl (who's really wearing a wig and makeup to cover her wrinkles). Her "uncle" is one of several Axe Gang bodyguards. To be honest, I don't know if axe gangs really existed. I've only seen them in Hong Kong action movies, but I liked the idea of a well-dressed gang of kung-fu butt-kickers. It's more interesting than the traditional fantasy thief wearing a dark cloak and hood.
