BREAK THE BOND. TEAR THE FABRIC. CLEAVE THE STONE. STOP THE MAGIC.I have been loosely following the animated series Star vs. The Forces of Evil for some time now, and I just love how it sends powerful societal messages (prejudice, inequality, parenthood, etc.) woven together in an otherwise just another magical girl story.
The show's final episode had the four queens of Mewni chanting the above words to end all the magic, and it's been stuck in my head for weeks!
So, here is my work on Baby Meteora in her Butterfly form; drawn using several gel pens and polished in Adobe Photoshop CS6.
