Description
Second version of my previous image of what the Targaryen household would look like in a 40k setting. I figured that they would be in their element during the Great Crusade, considering how they haven't had much of a military presence in Westeros until season 7, to my knowledge. Also, the Targaryens were the remnants of ancient Valyria, which in the setting of 40K would be a human civilization from before the Age of Strife, considering their considerable power and knowledge.
This version has an Imperial Knight belonging to House Targaryen, as the Knight houses are pretty close to how the noble houses of GOT operate. Furthermore, the knight walkers could be used as an analogue to their Dragons, which would arguably lose their potency in the myriad conquests of the Great Crusade, and would be a hassle for the Administratum and other imperial forces to properly handle. Nonetheless, the Targaryen household would still remain true to their words, having an excess of thermal ad energy-based weaponry, you know, things like flamers, meltas, even volkites, as well as an STC for the manufacture of Valyrian Steel, since the only thing in 40K which is comparable in origin and role would be the Encarmine weapons of the Sanguinary Guard.
In this pict of a detachment of the Targaryen 14th regiment and knight complement, the figure in the foreground is obviously the knight pilot, a noble of his homeworld who has been seen fit and trained to operate the ancient machine in the name of Humanity. He is wearing a set of draconic relic armor, and holds a potent Valyrian power sword. The Knight walker in the background is equipped with a rapidfire plasma blaster and a light accelerator cannon for secondary weapons. It is armed with a melta cannon on its right arm and a chainblade with an underslung heavy flamer on its left. It also has a carapace-mounted missile launcher with variable loadout options.
