Description
It was awhile back, but *AniDandelion suggested that I try drawing mangroves. It took a long time, but this is what I came up with.

It's a very cool picture... good color palette, I think. Also it's a good demonstration of a lot of different marker techniques. I probably screwed up several of the light sources and I know the way the trunks are tangled and the way they connect to the leaves doesn't always make sense, but... well, it was difficult inking and then I didn't want to do it again XD but it's probably fine.

Prismacolor markers (and some very minor detail in prismacolor colored pencil) with faber-castell inks on strathmore smooth bristol. 11" x 14".
