Uhh, actually it's not pedophilia (spl?) because Jack is actually about 317 years old. And Elsa is old enough too. Jack just 'died' at 17 and his body did not age anymore. Age difference is only an issue here if you do not agree with couples having more than double their age of difference.
But the part of being mortal/immortal I accept as a good reason.

You made some good points... apart from isn't Jack meant to be 18? and in some countries its okay to be under 18 (the age of consent here in the UK for example is 16). The being immortal part is a problem though
