Background-less version here: [link]Finally got a reluctant friend of mine to sit down and watch My Little Pony friendship is Magic, and halfway through the intro to episode 1 he asks, "So, this is like Samurai Jack with ponies?"
Hence, "Now Twilight Sparkle seeks the Elements of Harmony to return to the past to free Future Equestria from Aku!" . . . anyway, Aku as a Pony.

I think the changelings can only change into ponies (or at least even-toed ungulates), whereas this'd be regular ol' Aku shapeshifting into a Pony--err, well, unicorn-pegasus.

It's that one pink gem that shows up on all of his architecture, and which he enslaved Jack's people (and later the talking dogs) into mining for him...I honestly don't remember why they were so important to his world-domination scheme, but maybe pink gems are his Special Talent.
