It is avoiding expressions or actions that could be seen as insulting to people who are socially disadvantaged.
The definition seems nice, but it is like..the tiniest possibility of something seen as insulting drives them into a frenzy. They also seem hypocritical, since any MALE characters who act dumb never seems to be a problem for them, but when a stupid FEMALE shows up, they went crazy!

Okey, I understand now, I knew what you were talking about, just not the actual definition. My dad actually talks to me about this a lot. I`ve noticed how the special needs kids get more positive attention and awards than average students. Don`t get me wrong, I totally agree with trying to protect the special needs kids, but schools just go too far. We have a large field trip at school coming up soon, its like, a once in a life time opportunity. Our trip is divided into 2 trips since we have a lot of students out our school, and a bunch of kids have been separated from their friends, and your not allowed to switch to the other trip. The only kids who can switch their trip are the special needs kids, so that they won`t be lonely if their not with their friends. Many people aren`t going because they can`t go with their friends. So now the special needs kids can go on the trip with who ever they please while the other students have to stay at school and sit in study hall. Or if anyone ever even makes a comment about a special needs kid, detention.

Yeah, I get that the special needs kids need some extra help and attention, but there is no need to let them have any huge extra privileges that nobody else can have. Although, I think censoring the mentally retarded is really bad, too. Its like telling kids to not accept them. "Derpy looks retarded? BANISH HER TO THE MOON! Kids can't be shown mentally retarded people!"
